  • What should I feed my puppy?
    All beagles need protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals to stay in the best condition. Proteins are used for growth and repair muscles. Carbohydrates are turned into glucose, which is the main source of the body's energy. Vitamins and minerals provide the proper essentials for your beagles nerve functions, bone growth, healing metabolism and fluid balance. In order for your beagle to get the proper nutrition you need to buy a good brand of food, which supplies the proper ingredient. By doing so you might be eliminating many health problems and tiresome vet bills.
  • TOXIC FOODS
    Avocados: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting and diarrhea. Baby Food: May contain onion powder which can cause an unbalanced diet. Chocolate: Can cause vomiting, diarrhea, heart abnormalities, tremors, seizures and even death. Raw Eggs: Contains an enzyme that prevents uptake of biotin, a B vitamin. They may also contain salmonella Garlic: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation and anemia. Grapes: Can cause kidney failure. Macadamia Nuts: Can cause vomiting, weakness, lack of coordination and other problems. Raw Meat: May contain harmful bacteria such as samonella or E. coli. Milk: Can cause diarrhea in some puppies. Onions: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation and anemia. Raisins: Can cause kidney failure. Yeast Bread Dough: Can rise in thee gastrointestinal tract, causing obstruction, produces alcohol as it rises. Please Note: These things mentioned above may or may not happen it depends on the dog and how much was consumed. We are not veterinarians.   • What vaccines should my beagle have?
    Vaccinations are very important to maintain the health of your dog. We ensure our pups have had their first shots but it is up to the pet parent to maintain the vaccination schedule, similar to humans. Vaccination against rabies and lyme disease is also recommended,if not required by local law. Deworming should also be considered even if your dog shows no symptoms to ensure good health.

Some people find a beagle's best quality is their protective coat with their distinctive white tipped tail. Others find a beagle long ears and their great nose to be a beagle's greatest trademark. Whatever you find to be the most appealing about a beagle, history has shown us that a beagle has a relentless drive to get that rabbit. Mix breeds or poor breeding may affect the quality of a dog.
